As the topic. An error pops up when you install the update "Error creating file:.... Updater.exe. Access is denied (see attachment).
I have a version of Actual Installer 6.9 Pro and Actual Updater Pro.

Checked in Parameters:
1. Uninstall previous version...
2. Silently uninstal

Checked in Uninstallation:
1. Include Uninstaller
2. Show in Programs...
3. Silent Mode
4. Force Uninstall

Checked in Updater:
1. Include 'Actual...
2. Check for updates...
3. Use Product...
4. Use Downloader

What I'm doing wrong?

Hi Adam,

Please check if Updater.exe is not running in your system (use Task Manager).
If you launch Updater.exe for checking for updates, how long does it take time to respond?
It looks like the update website is not responding (or something else), so Updater.exe is running. And installation cannot overwrite it.

Ok this is dumb. You can't replace the updater.exe because it's in use. The program remains running and open after clicking on Check for Updates. The update.exe is already in use. It needs to self terminate before the installation or uninstallation process attempts to do ANYTHING with it. Please fix this.

Ok, I fixed this problem. It's a hack, but I just tested this with the latest v6.9 and got past the access denied error message.
Add this to Project/System/Commands tab. See attached Image
