Actual Installer Forum

I made an installation file and tried it on my Win 7/Vista/XP computers and all worked fine.
When I sent it to my partner he tried to install it on his home and office XP computers but both had the same problem:
1. The software was installed on directory but doesn't create the icon on desktop
2. The installation creates a program group but doesn't create the icons in the group.

With your project file all is good.
Also, I've tested your setup file on Win7 and XP and it's installed correctly (with shortcuts on desktop and program group).

Please make sure that your partner launch the setup file with administrator rights.
