GETVARIABLES: not working
We are running v8.3 Pro. Our script uses the custom check box variable (CustomCheckBox) in order to put a check mark on a field to indicate that our Demo files will be installed. We run our helper app to set some variables in the .INI file before the installation runs and we placed a GETVARIABLES co...

ERROR: "List index out of bounds (4)"
I added a fifth command to the installation and it is now getting the error when I run it,
"List index out of bounds (4)
The only differences between the two versions (see attachment) is the fifth command that I added.
/AC

Do Components and CustomCombo work together?
Leo. Thanks for the GETVARIABLES command. That fixed a main issue with our installers. We do not own the PRO+ version but we are intrigued by the Components feature in PRO+ 8.0 version. We had to split our old installer into two AI types, Server and Client. We also have another one that will need to...

AI reads registry/.INI values at start-up: problem for us
We created a command that runs using the "Before Installation" option. The command runs our utility that scans for certain settings and creates a special .INI entry for AI to read and set the CustomCheckBox accordingly. We noticed that AI reads the .INI variable BEFORE our command executes...

Re: Questions on: <ComboBoxIndex> and <CustomCheckBox>
We upgraded to v8.0 and the AI is now setting the <SetCustomCheckbox> from the .INI or Registry location as expected.

Re: Questions on: <ComboBoxIndex> and <CustomCheckBox>
Well, I followed your instructions but the checkbox does not behave as you described. The checkbox is unchecked at the Interface/Custom screen. This means that if the value is missing from the registry or .INI file AND the default value is YES (it is), the checkbox will be checked. I tested using th...
