Just coming back to this...
For 1) I'd like to specify an image for the entire background when using the modern interface. At present, you can only use a single colour with the 128x128 logo image overlayed.
Do you think it would be possible to add support for that?

Thanks for your reply. I can't seem to get that to work in version 9.7 (I'm on Trial).
See the image attached for my setup.
I'm expecting the .NETFramework version number in "My Custom Field" but it's empty.
