Re: Questions on: <ComboBoxIndex> and <CustomCheckBox>
Almost there with the installation. The question is now related to shortcuts being created for the files that are installed with the "Server" option. I currently have all of the shortcuts defined in the "Shortcuts" page but that includes the shortcuts for the "Server" o...

Re: Questions on: <ComboBoxIndex> and <CustomCheckBox>
Will the answer to Q3 be the same as Q1? ==> Create a zip for the "Server" files and use a command like, /C IF /I <CustomCheckBox>==1 ("<SetupTempDir>\7za.exe" x "<SetupTempDir>\serverfiles.zip" -o"<InstallDir>" -aoa ) Thanks for the quick response.

Some Qs on INI and self-registering DLLs
1) Our current IShield installer reads a .INI file and sets the default installation path (if the variable exists) to it. We use the same installer for upgrades or new installations. I know that one can read a variable from an .INI file but how can I set the installation directory to it upon start-u...

Re: I can't save the project (!)
v7.6 Pro. I'm running the installer under XP (legacy apps build!). I tested under WIN-7 and it worked fine there. Don't worry about it because I will move the builds to WIN-7 once I port the IShield installations to AI. For now the workaround is to: Create Project and do File-SaveAs. Good enough for...

I can't save the project (!)
I created a new project. Filled in a few fields. I click File->Save and nothing happens. I click File->Save As and nothing happens. I am the administrator and logged in as such. If I create a new project and immediately click File->Save As, it asks me for the project's file name and location. Not su...
