I have yet to get past "Unable to connect to the update site"

Thanks for the response Leo. My needs might be more complex than the Updater is designed for. The application consists of an executable and several hundred data files stored in a separate folder. I would like to be able to download any of the data files from our server that have a newer date on them...

Could you explain the steps that take place when the Updater is invoked?
