License key / password protection

Can actualinstaller generate license key or password? The installer will ask for the license key/password before the installation is continued.

Yes:
1. on the 'Dialogs-Main' tab select the 'User Information' option.
2. then go to 'Dialogs-User Info' and use option 'Serial Numbers'.

Hi, I’ve played with generating serial numbers from within your program and it works great. My need, however, requires me to generate a serial number externally from the setup, and then compare what the user keys in with the externally generated serial number. Our serial numbers change daily based on an algorithm. I’ve seen other install packages offer this ability. Unfortunately they require you to write the dll’s in c++. I’m wondering if your product offers any alternatives to this.

Only predefined serial numbers are available in our product.
