Windows 11 Shortcut

I found some strange behavior related to the uninstall feature when used with Windows 11. I can uninstall my app fine in Windows 10 but when I uninstall it in Windows 11 the uninstaller does not remove the shortcut from the desktop. It removes the shortcut from the programs menu but not the desktop. If I then try to move the desktop icon to the trash manually Windows 11 will not do this. I must reinstall the app, remove the icon from the desktop manually and then uninstall the app.

See property screen shots below. This only happens when I install the app from a USB stick. If I install it from a file on my computer then the shortcut is properly uninstalled. Also, after the process of doing a print screen and cut of the properties window the shortcut icon disappeared from my desktop.

I see that the shortcut is located in your OneDrive's desktop folder.
Can you check it.
The usual Desktop location is in user's AppData folder.

Leo, Yes the shortcut is in onedrive but only after I uninstalled the app(image 1380). When I initially installed the app the shortcut was in User\bob\appdata\roaming (image 1381) Bob

I think the issue is with the syncing these two desktop folders.
