adding exe to start up menu

Post by tompgm »

I have tried both the shortcut and the registry key methods for adding the .exe to the Windows start up menu but it fails. I am running Windows Vista.

Will someone please help me?

I have already succeeded now by using the REGISTRY option. But I have another question.

The name of my program is: The SEO Solution In the installation screens, your program is also using the word 'the' so the user see's this in some of the screens: the The SEO Solution

How can this be solved please?

Go to Dialogs-Languages, double-click on the English item.
Here you can edit any strings of setup wizard.
You need to edit sections:

Code: Select all

[Welcome]
0=Welcome to the <AppName> Setup Wizard

AND

[SetupComplete]
0=Completing the <AppName> Setup Wizard

This is very cool. I had no idea I could double-click on the English Setup Language to change the text. Now, I can change the instructions to the folks using my installers. Thank you! :mrgreen:
