System / Commands - Order of Execution Query

Hi,
Regarding Commands on the System page, could you please tell me if they always execute in order from top to bottom?
And also, if one command has "Wait for process to finish" box checked, do all the commands below it wait until that command has finished executing?
We are using commands to first create a new folder, then to copy files into it.
